| Sea Girt Lighthouse |

As a way of distinguishing itself from the other lighthouses in the area, Sea Girt's beacon turned red for two seconds out of every six. The lighthouse was decommisioned in 1945 and has recently been reopened to the public. The interior has been beautifully restored and furnished with historical accuracy and depicts the life of the lighthouse keeper and their family.
