The Meadowlands Sports Complex covers 700 acres and is home to the Continental Airlines Arena, the Meadowlands Racetrack, Giants Stadium and future home to the sprawling Xanadu Entertainment Complex.

Both Continental Airlines Arena and Giants Stadium put on world class concerts and special performances, such as Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice and much much more.

Continental Airlines Arena is home to the three time Stanley Cup Champions the NJ Devils (who are currently building a new arena in Newark) and the NJ Nets (who have plans to move to Brooklyn). In addition to these major league sports teams, Seton Hall University's basketball team, the Pirates, also play here.

Giants Stadium is home to TWO NFL teams, the Giants and the Jets. Both teams have decided to remain in the Meadowlands where a new state of the art stadium will be built. In addition, the NJ MetroStars calls Giants Stadium home (they are having a new staidum built in Harrison NJ, across the river from Newark)

The Meadowlands Racetrack is home to world class horse racing, featuring the Breeders Crown and the Hambletonian.

Currently being built is the massive Xanadu Entertainment Complex (opening 2007) which will include th first North American indoor skiing, baseball field, hotels, restaurants, Bass Pro Shop, and much more.
