Originally known as the Brighton, it became the Sands in 1981 two years after opening. It is located at Brighton Park Mall. This park area, as of the summer of 2000, was under going renovations. The Sand's includes 76,000 sqaure feet of casino space and 536 guest suites, forty-eight suites, nine cabana suits and seven palatial super-suites. The Copa Room, (609)441-4137, is a 850 seat theatre where Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, Liza Mennelli and many others have performed. Restaurants include anything from informal to world class cuisine.
