Sure its summer time and you are craving ice cream, but are you willing to sing and dance in front of a room of strangers for it? If you are then the Show Place Ice Cream Parlor in Long Beach Island is for you.

The Show Place is a unique ice cream parlor located on Centre Street at Beach Avenue in Beach Haven. This parlor comes equipped with a cast of singing and dancing waiters and waitresses.

The Show Place usually puts on 7 to 10 shows per night that last anywhere from half an hour to a full hour. The parlor employs a cast of 10 talented young actors and actresses and usually a cast of 6 perform nightly.

Ice cream dishes range from 5 to 8 dollars and are well worth it. Milk shakes, ice cream sodas, and sundaes with names like Annie and Fiddler on the Roof are served and if you ask what kind of ice cream the parlor has, chances are you will find out in a choir of singing performed by the staff.

The servings are huge!

The parlor involves guests by making them sing or dance as they receive their ice cream and also the staff performs 2 to 3 songs as they dance around the restaurant. Funny hats are placed on the heads of guests and by the end of the show, everyone has been involved!

The parlor does not take reservations and accepts cash only so get there early in order to get a seat. The parlor works on a first come, first serve basis and a line forms outside the door nightly. Birthday parties can be reserved however and also the parlor offers a singing telegram service for guests in the area.
