Avalon
gets it's name from the legendary island King Arthur is said
to have been buried on. This is a relaxing beach with a small
boardwalk. Avalon is mostly preserved beach with sand dunes
where you can see Compass grass, holly trees and honeysuckle.
There is almost a thousand acres of unspoiled virgin mashland
also preserved by the World Wildlife Fund in Avalon.
