Spring
Lake is a bed & breakfast town second only to Cape May
and is commonly referred to as the "The Irish Riviera".
Many stately homes line the streets. The boardwalk is great
for walking, jogging or bicycling. Sand dunes line the beach
and the Spring Lake Trolley runs during the summer until
Labor Day. This town has been featured in many movies including
Woody Allen's Stardust Memories. Spring Lake is also famous
for a tragedy that occurred on September 8, 1934, when fire
broke out on the ocean liner - Morro Castle.
