Historical Museum Science/Technology
Visit our Nation's most decorated battleship, the Battleship New Jersey, berthed along the Camden Waterfront across from Center City Philadelphia. Climb inside the 16" gun turrets and up the ship's original ladders and discover what life was like aboard this floating city. Don't miss the 4D flight simulator- a virtual reality ride back into a WWII dogfight over Iwo Jima.
The Battleship hosts overnight Encampment programs for families and youth groups every Friday and Saturday night. Historical Lighthouse
Climb 199 steps to the watch tower for a breathtaking view of the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean. For those who choose not to climb, the Oil House contains a fully-accessible visitors' orientation center and a Museum Shop stocked with maritime accessories and memorabilia.
The present tower, which is the third documented lighthouse at the southern tip of New Jersey, has always been an attention-getting landmark and still serves as an aid-to-navigation for mariners.
More than 100,000 visitors a year now experience a visit to the top of the lighthouse, participating in a century old rite of a visit to the Jersey Shore.

Historical Museum
Step back in time to the Victorian era with a visit to the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, located at 1048 Washington St. in Cape May. Built in 1879, the 18-room Physick Estate provides an in-depth glimpse of the period, reflecting the Victorian lifestyle through the way the Physick family and their servants lived, worked, and played.

Historical
Built in 1734, the Hancock House is an important link to understanding the History of Salem County, and our nation's struggle for independence. It was the home of a prominent Salem County family and is an excellent example of English Quaker patterned end wall brick houses associated with the lower Delaware Valley and Southwestern New Jersey. It was also the scene of a British led masacre during the revolutionary War.
Did you know that New Jersey has more species of wildlife per square mile than any other state in the nation? New Jersey Audubon’s Birding and Wildlife Trails program provides all the information you need to plan weekend trips for wildlife viewing and enjoying the outdoors in the Garden State. Detailed driving trails are provided for the South Jersey Bayshore, Skylands Region and the Hackensack River Watershed.

Historical Museum Park
One of the most significant events in American History occurred here. This is the final battle of what is commonly referred to as the "Ten Crucial Days" and "The Turning Point of the Revolution". Here Washington gained his first victory over the British Regulars and General Hugh Mercer lost his life.
Princeton Battlefield State Park offers nature trails, one of which leads to a Quaker Meeting House, built in 1726, which is still in use. Take a picnic basket and have a picnic on the lawn while playing frisbee or softball.
At the Thomas Clarke House, built in 1772, you can see Revolutionary War exhibits, furnishings and learn about life back in the times of the Revolution.
