This forested wilderess connects watreshed lands and is crossed by an old logging road. Streams, mixed oak-hardwood forest and swamps comprise the park. This area is popular among fishermen and hikers. Trail entry is through the Farny Natural Area. Split Rock Reservoir is adjacent to the park.

Farny Natural Area (589 acres)
Numerous trails cross this natural area, which lies adjacent to Split Rock Reservoir and supports a mature mixed oak-hardwood forest characteristic of the highlands physiographic province. Tall red. white and black oaks cominate the forest canopy, offering habitat fr the endangered red-shouldered hawk and threatened barred owl.

Directions
Take Route 287 to Route 23 in Butler. Follow Green Pond Road/Route 513 to Timberbrook Road to Camp Lewis to trail entrance.
