Stacey Smith is a native to New Jersey. She was born in Red Bank and lived in Monmouth County for the first half of her life. She then moved to Manahawkin, which is 5 minutes from Long Beach Island. She graduated from Southern Regional High School in 2002 and currently attends West Virginia University. She is a senior who plans to graduate next spring with a major in Journalism and a minor in Buisness/Professional Writing. She hopes to pursue a carreer in writing where she can work with newspapers or magazines.

Stacey resides in Manahawkin with her parents and younger sister during her college breaks. She enjoys spending her summers at the Jersey shore, sitting on the beach with her friends or

family. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music, going out with friends, and playing with her dog.
